Before you choose

The questions we hear most often from working learners.

Are online degrees recognised?

Yes, when the university is entitled by the UGC to teach online. An online degree from such a university carries the same standing as its campus degree for jobs, government exams and higher study. We only list programmes from entitled universities.

What is the difference between online and distance learning?

Distance learning usually means printed material and a few contact classes. Online programmes have live classes, recorded lectures, online assignments and proctored online exams, all run through the university's learning platform.

How do exams work?

Most universities hold proctored exams online at the end of each semester. You sit them at home on a laptop with a webcam and a stable connection, in a slot you book in advance.

Can I study while working full time?

That is who these programmes are built for. Plan on five to nine hours a week, depending on the programme. Use the planner on the home page to see which ones fit your week.

What if I miss a live class?

Every live class is recorded and stays available until you graduate. Attendance rules differ by university; your advisor will tell you the exact rule before you apply.

How are fees paid?

By semester, directly to the university. Many universities also offer no-cost EMI through partner lenders. The fees shown are the full programme fee, with no application charge from us.

Is counselling really free?

Yes. Advisors help you compare and apply; you never pay us for that. If a programme does not fit your week or budget, they will say so.

Do I ever need to visit the campus?

For the programmes listed here, no. Admission, classes, exams and your degree certificate are all handled online or by post.

Not sure which degree fits?

Not sure between two programmes? An advisor will compare them against your week and budget, free.
